SEMA 2016 was a smashing success for BBS of America and BBS GmbH.
BBS rocked the house and, for the second year in a row, took home the Best New Wheel & Related Product category award.
The winning wheel is the BBS RE-1641 Forged Magnesium wheel for the Porsche GT3RS. The newly crowned winner was the star in the booth and had hundreds of SEMA attendees and industry colleagues stopping by to see it, ask questions and offer congratulations to the BBS team.
The BBS booth featured a BMW M4 customized by IND Distribution with BBS FI-R in brushed silver finish, KW suspension and complete M4 GTS interior, roll bar and rear wing conversion. The IND M4 is a head turner with its custom Porsche ultra violet paint job to compliment the carbon fiber body trim work.
Located outside in space #V106 between the Performance Hall and the North Hall of the convention center, our Porsche GT3 RS was customized by Supreme Power and featured the award winning Forged Magnesium wheels on the driver side and custom finish FI-R on the passenger side. Supreme Power wrapped the GT3 RS in Porsche racecar pattern and featured improved suspension components.
The activity in the Upper South Hall at BBS booth #31287 was exciting all four days of the show. BBS was featured on Facebook Live by European Car doing an interview with Craig Donnelly, President, BBS of America. Sidney Hoffmann, a well-known Automotive TV personality in Germany also filmed a video at the booth and interviewed Jesse Hemans, BBS V.P. Sales & Marketing. The focus was on the IND BMW M4 GTS with the custom brushed finish FI-R wheels.
BBS GmbH personnel were in attendance as many customers from Asia and Europe were at SEMA 2016 and had scheduled meetings with their respective sales managers. There were customers and prospects from many states in the US and from Canada along with many inquiries from South America and the Caribbean.
BBS introduced its new apparel line of Polo shirts, T-shirts, hats and license plates. The new apparel program was received extremely well and BBS received many sales requests. The new BBS apparel program will be ready for sale on the BBS website within 30-60 days.
SEMA proved to be a great success for BBS who attended the show for the second year in a row after a 7-year absence. The team at BBS of America and BBS GmbH would like to thank all our customers, reps, attendees and press that came by during the show and for making it a great success.
